We connect business and experiences

Igea Holding is a company dedicated for management of companies and developing of international markets. Companies within the Igea Holding portfolio operates in the GIS field, in the development of national real estate systems, in the property registration system and public infrastructure management.

The mission of Igea Holding is to transfer knowledge and experiences gained from the projects in Slovenia to the international markets of Southeast and Central Europe. We connect various experts and partner companies to be able to provide comprehensive solution adapted for each local market.

Management of companies

When individual local market is developed sufficiently, Igea Holding establishes a company, which is responsible for full support to the specific market. Within the management of companies Igea Holding provides the coordination of operations of companies and ensures the conditions for independent operation in individual markets. Individual companies employ experts in the local area. Igea Holding also ensures regular exchange of experience and good practices between companies.

International market development

Group of companies within the framework of Igea Holding is active in the field of real estate registration, spatial management and management of infrastructure. The basic model of international market development is the development of solutions and their proof of concept in Slovenia, which are then transferred and adapted to the specific local market. The main systems in the area of Igea Holding operation are mainly in the state jurisdiction, which is why the Igea Holding actively participates in the development of national strategic development projects and programs that are also eligible for financing by international monetary funds (EU funds, World Bank funds ).

Promoting spatial informatics in society

The Igea Holding mission is solving various geo-spatial problems, increasing the efficiency of spatial management and promoting spatial informatics in the society. This mission also defines the way businesses operate, focused on comprehensive and long-term cooperation with the client, as well as activities that are also beneficial to wider community. Individual experts from a group of companies are active in various national and international associations, chambers, initiatives, standardization bodies, where they can actively contribute to specific subject areas.

Igea Holding is managing three companies:

Igea d.o.o. (Slovenia)
Igea d.o.o. from Ljubljana is a leading GIS company in Southeastern Europe. GIS has been a core expertise of the company since its founding in 1989. Igea is the development center of the holding, both in content development and technological development. The key references of the company are a wide range of national geoinformation systems developed in the Republic of Slovenia: real estate registration, spatial planning and construction, road management, natural disaster relief, energy performance register and efficient energy management of public buildings, evidence based broadband mapping, development of a national spatial data infrastructure and implementation of INSPIRE directive. Igea is active in the development and implementation of smart city solutions with its Integral GIS platform, which has been successfully implemented in several cities.
Igea MAK (Northern Macedonia)
Founded in 2007 in Skopje, Igea MAK is responsible for the development and implementation of an electronic real estate cadastre in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. The company participates in the activities of implementation the Road Asset Management System (RAMS). The company employs local experts, mainly informatics and surveyors.
RGC (Serbia)
RGC (Regional Geoinformatics Center) was founded in 2018 in Belgrade. The company is focused on developing of the real estate cadastre information system and improving the quality of real estate data in the Republic of Serbia. The company employs local experts, mainly informatics and surveyors.
